Louisburg College

I graduated from Ayden-Grifton High School in June 1997. In August 1997, I began attending Louisburg College. I just recently found out that Louisburg could lose its acredidation around May. They cant seem to raise the money they need to survive. I know alot of alumni from Louisburg and now I feel like I should make it my personal mission to save the college that means so much to me. I tell people that I was prouder of my education at Louisburg, than I was at UNCG. I feel like I learned so much more. I grew as a person while I was there. When I graduated in May of 2000, that was the moment in my life that I knew I would be ok. I could never have been more happy. My family was so proud of me, and they were all there. My mom and dad, my Aunt Dottie, my cousin Karen, my Grandfather, John his ex wife and their son. I remember my mom telling me that if I didnt want to go to college after Louisburg I didnt have too. I had gotten into Barton College in Wilson (probably should have gone there), but chose UNCG instead. Thought I would save my mom and dad some money by going to UNCG. I enjoyed my time at UNCG, dont get me wrong. I just want to see Louisburg survive and make other students as successful and to feel as good as I did when I graduated.

So, i interviewed for a spot today, in Asheboro where I started at with Enterprise. I am nervous about it. I think the interview went well, but you can never tell. I had 42 corporate leads last month, I have had so many pople call me about it.

Christmas is coming

Christmas will be here in 6 days. I am excited about this. Presents, yay. I dont know that I will be getting alot of presents. I am ok with that. I gotta pick up a few more things, that I plan to grab tommorow. YAY.

2. Aunt Ollies birthday was on Halloween so we wore our costumes to see her on HAlloween and Unclse Steve gave us pumpkins.
3. I was Dorthory from the Wizard of Oz for like 3 years
4. I went to ECU once and was not to impressed with the amount of people that were there. It was crazy.
5. My lasst costume was me in my Cintas uniform.
6. I bought a pumpkin this year.
7.I went as Ricky Bobby this year.

collard greens and family trees

Ayden (my hometown) has a Collard Festival every year. It started this past Tuesday, and ends Sunday night. I am headed to Ayden tonight to go to the parade tommorrow. Sings (I love a parade). HAHAHAHA ECU and UNC both are going to have marching bands in the parade, so it should be interesting. I get to see my dad and my cousins, and the boys! I think I am more excited about seeing my family than the parade!

Class Reunion and cramps

I gotta speak at my reunion. I am excited and nervous all at once. I havent written it yet, simply because it has been hard too. I am off tommorow and vow to have it complete by the time Lauren gets home from work. I think thats a fesible goal.

On a side note, I feel like hell. I have the worst cramps. They just kicked in....Luckily I only have about 30 minutes left at work. Then I go home put on shorts climb into bed and sleep it off. Yay!
